At Cynthia Woods with CSG!

Pilated Woodpecker

Mary - introduction

 Measuring in action
 Flagging
Recording

FPC Educators Sarah and Mary visited Cynthia Woods with the Columbus School for Girls' 8th grade class yesterday! It was a beautiful day and the girls were able to get some hands on experience measuring tree growth! Thanks for inviting us to such a special place. We would love to hear from some of the girls about their experiences:

What did you do with the Franklin Park Conservatory Staff while at Cynthia Woods?

What was your favorite part?

Where you able to apply any of the knowledge/skills learned at school to this hands on experience?

What did you learn?

How many trees do you think it would take to off-set your personal carbon footprint? What about the carbon footprint of the entire 8th grade?

Please share your experiences and the data that you collected with us all!
